Family fit club and puppy parties

Family fit club

Our family fit club is held at our Ashingdon Surgery. The club started in February 2011 with the aim to encourage owners of overweight or unfit dogs to meet at the surgery every Wednesday between 5.30pm-6.30pm for a weigh in and a chest and waist measuring; this means we can then document and monitor their progress.

We have a number of regular dogs that attend and there is a one off payment of £5.00. Susan Phillips, (Ashingdon Branch Manager) the owners with their dogs then either go to the park or walk around the streets depending on the time of year and weather for exercise They then return to the surgery for much needed refreshments.

Our family Fit Club held their own sponsored walk in October 2013 raising £150.50 towards the RSPCA and Dogs Trust charities.

Puppy parties

Puppy parties are held on the last Wednesday of every month at our Ashingdon Branch and every third Monday at our Shoebury Branch.

The club allows puppies to socialise from a young age and we will help to resolve and give advice on any puppy problems you may have.

Please note that puppies can only attend if they have had their first vaccination.

If you would like further information or would like to attend one of our puppy parties, please contact either our Shoebury Surgery on 01702 299554 or our Ashingdon Surgery on 01702 543701 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
